MEMBER NEWS PEOPLE MOVES BWB Manchester now has 23 technical staff, with five new employees in the past few months. These recent appointments mean that the office now provides Structural, Civil, Water, Acoustic, Sustainability and BREEAM services. The new employees are: Karen Dempster, Mike Barrett, 46 Georgios Rozis, Philip Barrett and Jonathon Taylor... Pennine has recruited Stephen Duffy as its new group head of Technical Services. His appointment follows the departure of former Product and Services Director, Geoff King, who has retired following the sale of the business to the Nycomm Group. Anne joins the firm following a successful career at a variety of top digital agencies including Brass, amaze and MediaCom in the UK, and Carat Interactive in Paris…construction boss David Lowe has been appointed to the advisory board of Manchester Metropolitan University’s Centre for Enterprise. David, the Managing Director of Manchester & Cheshire Construction, joins five other regional business leaders on the advisory board. He is the first from the construction sector…GJD, an award winning British manufacturer of professional external detector equipment and LED illuminators, has appointed Khadija Onneby as the company’s new Sales Consultant for France.
