…and ended with the launch of a company.
Rachel's passion for imports and exports began when she was working for a global retailer. While checking the accounts, she queried the duty being paid on a particular shipment and found the badminton racquets received had been incorrectly labelled as tennis racquets – which are subject to higher duty. Rachel's diligence saved the company a significant amount of money and started an enduring love affair with the detail and complexities of international trade.

Fast forward to 2019 and CIE Services was launched, providing practical advice and real-world experience to businesses trading across the globe.
