London-based managed service provider Sereno IT Support, which delivers structured IT support, cybersecurity services and strategic technology guidance to SMEs, has been recognised in the High Growth Business category at the SME London Business Awards 2026, hosted by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).

The recognition reflects Sereno’s rapid growth and its distinctive approach to managed IT services, combining service excellence with operational innovation to give growing businesses a more structured, transparent and dependable support experience.

Founded in 2022, Sereno now supports more than 1,200 users across 70 companies, with annual turnover reaching £1.7 million last year and projected to reach £2.3 million this year. The company says its growth has been driven largely by word-of-mouth, referrals and expansion within its existing client base, underlining the strength of its customer-first model.

Sereno works with SMEs that need more than a traditional reactive helpdesk. Its services span day-to-day IT support, strategic quarterly technology reviews, cybersecurity improvement, infrastructure oversight and managed detection and response, helping businesses turn IT from an operational burden into a growth enabler.

At the centre of the company’s model is the Sereno Partner Portal, which allows users to submit support requests through guided forms, access live chat, and book engineer time directly. More than 90% of tickets now come through the portal, with 35% booked instantly and 10% of support volume handled through live chat, helping reduce delays and remove the friction often associated with traditional IT support.

Beyond the service desk, every client receives quarterly Technology Reviews powered by Sereno’s Technology Assessment Dashboard, which evaluates more than 100 factors across cybersecurity, infrastructure, device health, backups, licensing and compliance. Findings are translated into plain-English reports and prioritised roadmaps, giving leadership teams better visibility into performance, risk and next steps.

The model is also designed around service quality. Every support interaction is followed by a satisfaction survey, with 97% of responses rated “Good” or “Awesome” and anything below that followed up the same day. Sereno says all engineers have at least five years of experience, and that engineers are measured on client satisfaction rather than speed alone.

That combination of structure, expertise and accountability is delivering measurable client outcomes. Hutton Consulting, a global executive search firm, reduced its IT ticket volume by 37% within six months after implementing Sereno’s structured improvement roadmap.

Sereno has also expanded its cybersecurity offering with Managed Detection and Response and Security Operations Centre services. Today, 70% of Sereno’s clients have adopted these services, and cybersecurity now represents 28% of the company’s total revenue.

Michael Johnson, Founder of Sereno IT Support, said:

“We built Sereno around a simple belief: growing businesses deserve an IT partner that is structured, responsive and genuinely invested in their success.

Too often, managed support feels reactive and difficult to navigate. We wanted to create something better — a service model that combines experienced engineers, smart systems and clear strategic guidance, so clients feel supported not only when issues arise, but as their business evolves.

This recognition is a proud moment for our team because it reflects the standard we hold ourselves to every day and the trust our clients place in us.”

Today, 70% of Sereno’s revenue comes from recurring managed service relationships, reflecting continued demand from SMEs for long-term IT support partners that combine reliability, innovation and a strong customer experience.

As London’s business landscape continues to evolve, Sereno believes the future of managed services lies in better service design, stronger client relationships and technology strategies aligned with business growth.
